Three new telehandlers maintain fleet

Elad Zohar – National Operations Manager, Chris Sprod – Group CFO and Gary Murphy – General Manager with their three new versatile JCB 525-60 Agri Plus telehandlers. Three new JCB 525-60 Agri Plus telehandlers will help keep access industry hire company, Alfasi Hire at the forefront of the industry with the newest fleet from leading manufacturers.

The three new telehandlers will be added to Alfasi Hire’s large fleet of over 2,000 machines, including 60 telehandlers. Alfasi Hire has been operating since 2004 and provides telehandlers, forklifts and other access equipment for high profile construction, mining, agriculture and infrastructure projects. Gary Murphy, General Manager at Alfasi Hire, said his team knows customers are looking for equipment machines that are the leading products in their categories.

“Here at Alfasi Hire we remain at the forefront of the industry and to do that we continually improve and reinvest in the latest technology on the market. That’s why we chose to purchase the three JCB telehandlers over other brands in the market,” Gary said.

“We make a point of difference to have the newest fleets, with the top machines from leading manufacturers. It’s very important every machine in our fleet is in line with the stringent safety requirements we have outlined and JCB provides those features and more.”

The fuel efficiency and speed of the JCB by Kohler Tier 4 Final without the need for Ad Blue and DPF filter, as well as the compactness of the machine, means it can be used across a range of applications so it is well suited to a hire business, Gary said.

“It’s a dynamic machine so we can hire them out across mining, construction, agriculture, telecommunications and maintenance, with a particular focus on large projects.
“We started our working relationship with JCB CEA a few years ago and the backup and support they provide us, combined with the leading specifications of the JCB machines, was a driving factor in our decision to purchase the telehandlers,” Gary said.

Alfasi Hire employs 85 staff and services the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Darwin areas. The nationwide support network and JCBCEA’s commitment to safety and quality were big factors in Alfasi Hire decision to purchase the new machines.

“We make sure to have a point of difference with our machines and the JCB 525-60 telehandler offers great specifications, the best equipment in their class and ISO safety accreditation, so it was a top choice right from the beginning.
“We currently have a JCB teletruck and now three 525-60 Agri Plus telehandlers, and we certainly will continue to make more additions in the future.”
