New spider lift built for arbor market

Monitor Lifts’ new 18m Spider Lift, the Omme 1800RX Spider Lift, has 10m horizontal reach, with unrestricted 230kg swivel and built with the arborist in mind.

The Omme Lifts have all steel booms for strength and low maintenance and a 230kg safe working load and popular Z-style boom design with vertical lift.

Featuring fly jib with platform rotation; hydraulically expanding track system; non-marking rubber tracks; radio control drive; auto level stabiliser legs; and removable platform for tight access, the Omme 1800RX ensures flexibility, Monitor Lift’s General Manager, Ben Joyce said.

“This machine reduces to 790mm wide for access through doorways and into confined areas and with its 1.99m stowed height it can be loaded onto a plant trailer and pulled behind any vehicle with a 3.5 tonne tow capacity,” Ben said.

“With the tracks expanded for extra stability, the 1800RX is a true all terrain machine. The soft tracks are gentle on all surfaces and the long footprint reduces the ground pressure to provide excellent flotation on soft or boggy ground.
“Powered by a Kubota diesel or a Honda petrol engine, along with electric and battery options, the Omme 1800RX can be operated indoors or outdoors.
“Reaching a working height of 18m, with an up-and-over height of 6m, the new pantograph design boom provides excellent up and- over reach for ultimate flexibility.
