Genie USA posting for Mitch Ely
Genie has appointed Mitch Ely, as Director Customer Satisfaction And Reconditioning in the USA.
Since 2014 Mitch has been National Operations Manager for Genie Australia, based in Brisbane. Mitch spent almost six years in the Australian access rental industry with his own start up business, Platform Solutions in 2008, before moving to rental company Skyreach in 2012 and then returning to Genie.
He originally joined Genie in 1998 and over the following 10 years became involved in most aspects of the business as national operations manager. He has also served in a number of roles within Australia’s Elevating Work Platform Association and was most recently National Vice President.
In his new role in the US Mitch will be based at Genie headquarters in Redmond, Washington, reporting to Senior Director Of Product Support And Service Solutions Bob Bartley. The new role will consist of responsibility for the Genie customer satisfaction program as well as the reconditioning, used sales and service training teams. The product support team also includes Dan Anderson, Ron Wixon, Steve Chandler and Stohn Stevenson.
Bob Bartley said: “Mitch comes to the customer satisfaction team with 25 years of experience in the industry. In this new role he will handle customer issues related to product support, parts, warranty, engines and reconditioning. His in-depth knowledge and extensive experience will be well received and utilised.”
