New LED work light tower goes battery or mains

The K10 3600 LED work light tower from Powerlite Australia can be operated with its internal battery or mains power ensuring it’s ready to go for any emergency situation.

The Powerlite LED lighting tower features 4 x 240W LED technology lamps, producing 96,000lm+, and comes with a weatherproof and durable gasket system IP65, fully customised beam angle, interchangeable without lamp replacement available in 15, 20, 35, 60 & 100 degrees.

The lighting tower provides instant illumination, with no warm up or cool down required and globe failure is a thing of the past, Powerlite’s Matthew Fox said.

“The main feature of Powerlite’s new LED lamp is you can retro fit them to existing lighting towers or it can be paired with our light tower featuring: 140 hours run per fuel fill, power lamp tilt, seven day, 24hr automatic timer, fully bunded, auxiliary power outlet, and battery isolator switch.
“Its 12/24V DC LED trailer lighting, easy towing and optional light sensing automatic control makes it the perfect lighting tower combination,” Matthew said.

The K10 includes folding stabiliser legs and quick deploy extension poles integrated into the base while its compact design ensures it’s easy to carry and will take minimal space in a vehicle.

The unique multi-function design covers every application from 360° area floodlight to long distance spot/search light, and everything in between.

“Typical portable area floodlights have a fixed beam angle which cannot be adjusted according to the task in hand,” Matthew said.

“The lumen output of the K10 is controlled to effectively illuminate a wide range of different working situations with the highest possible energy efficiency, to enable longer running times in critical situations when working via the internal battery.

With a 9m vertical hydraulic mast that is fully automated and extends in 12 seconds, 360° mast rotation, 130 litre fuel tank, 126 hour run (lamps only), the K10 3600 LED work light tower also features a mast deployment alarm with safety system, fork pockets and single lift eye with no pinch points, emergency stop and locking battery isolator switch, power lamp tilt and auto-run timer module.
