Full-sized telehandler performance at right-sized price and high ROIC

The new Genie GTH-3007 compact telehandler combines the full capacity of a 6.89m (22ft 7in) machine with the cost efficiencies that only a 74hp (55kW) Stage IIIA engine can provide, offering on-site productivity and cost efficiency for a high rental return on invested capital (ROIC), Kurt Kinder, Genie National Sales Manager, Terex AWP Australia said.

As the heavier-lifting, higher-reaching brother of the Genie GTH-2506 compact telehandler, at the low weight of 6,060kg (13,360lb), the new Genie GTH-3007 telehandler shares the same rugged durability common to all other models of the Genie GTH telehandler family.

Boasting a maximum lift capacity of 3,000kg (6,614lb), a lift capacity of 2,500kg (5,511lb) at a maximum height of 6.89m (22ft 7in), and a lift capacity of 800kg (1,764lb) at maximum reach of 3.86m (12ft 8in), this new unit also offers the benefits of a low-emissions 74hp (55 kW) Deutz Stage IIIA compliant engine to provide operators productive capacity and rapid rental returns on investment.

“Servicing is also notably faster and easier than units with higher horsepower engines, which enhances rental availability and boosts profitability,” Kurt said.
Features include: a 2.55m (8ft 4in) inside turning radius and high 43cm (17in) ground clearance; machine length at attachment frame of 4.66m (15ft 3in), a machine width of 1.99m (6ft 6in) and a machine height of 2.30m (7ft 7in), making the Genie GTH-3007 unit the perfect match for jobs on busy and congested sites in confined or difficult to access spaces.

The Load Management System (LMS) is more sophisticated than previous models and has been fully integrated into the machine’s control system.
“It provides the operator with more information via a dynamic load chart, which is presented on a 17.8cm (7in) colour display,” Kurt said.

The LMS also includes a reversing camera, optional forward/side camera and optional operator access controls that can be set up to restrict the attachments each operator can select. The LMS can be configured for full operator access or restricted access via a 4-digit PIN code or a unique electronic key.

The Genie GTH-3007 telehandler includes a rugged chassis, a two-stage boom with no chains or cables, durable steel front mudguards and Dana axles with dual brakes, full-time planetary four-wheel drive and four-wheel steer.

Equipped with a variable speed hydrostatic transmission for a smooth powerful drive, this unit features a side-mounted engine cover with a comfortable opening angle for easy filter replacement, access to engine components and hydraulic test ports located at the front of the chassis. For attachment flexibility, the Genie GTH-3007 telehandler comes standard with an auxiliary hydraulics Quick Attach carriage, a feature the model shares with the Genie GTH-2506 compact telehandler.

“The new Genie GTH-3007 telehandler combines efficient, full-featured capabilities with the most compact dimensions and lightest machine weight in its category,” Kurt said.
