Orange Hire lists at #2 Best Place to Work

Orange Hire was recognised as one of Australia and New Zealand’s Best Places to Work in the annual poll results announced this week.

The prestigious list, published by The Australian Financial Review and Boss Magazine, is based on a rigorous assessment process managed by Australian behavioural science consultancy, Inventium.

Orange Hire earned second place on the Property, Construction and Transport list from more than 750 nominated organisations.

“The assessment was made up of a staff survey and a written submission, with questions relating to policies, practices and programs that exist within our organisation to support and get the best out of our employees,” said Orange Hire’s CEO, Greg Parfitt (pictured).

The methodology is underpinned by Inventium’s Workplaces of the Future framework, which identifies ten factors that are critical to employees feeling motivated and engaged at work and is supported by extensive research.

“Orange Hire was thrilled to be recognised for our achievements and practices around maintaining a strong and inclusive company culture, developing our team and fostering leadership, and of course, promoting safety in everything we do,” said Greg. “Our people are the key to our success. It’s reassuring we are being recognised for our efforts to bring the best out of each of our team.”

Benefits of recognition

The AFR BOSS Best Places to Work list recognises and ranks the top employment cultures in Australia and New Zealand, by industry, and is the premier survey of its kind.

Companies ranked by the process benefit from the endorsement by promoting their achievement externally to attract skilled talent and like-minded collaborators, and internally, to energise and retain current employees.

In 2022, the list included ten industry categories, compiled from over 750 nominations.

The full list of honourees and an overview of Orange Hire’s team leadership strategy, ‘Understanding You’, published in the AFR, can be viewed here.
