For anyone who missed the
challenge phenomenon –
which went viral on social
media during July and August
– it involved dumping a bucket
of ice water on someone’s
head to promote awareness
of the disease Amyotrophic

Kennards Hire has been
awarded the Family Business
Association Business of the
Year at the FBA National
Conference in Adelaide.
The FBA celebrates family
businesses with emphasis
on those able to contribute
to our culture and the
future of the Australian
economy. Kennards Hire has
demonstrated an outstanding
commitment to the
amalgamation of both family
Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and
encourage donations to research.
In Australia people participate
for the Motor Neurone Disease
Association.
The challenge dares nominated
participants to be filmed having
a bucket of ice water poured on
their heads and then nominating
others to do the same. A common
stipulation is nominated
participants have
24 hours to comply or forfeit
by way of a charitable financial
donation. Barossa Valley Hire and
the three participants raised $1000
for the charity.
Well done! Courageous effort!
