The Tamworth Branch of Kennards Hire has been crowned Group Branch of the Year across Australia and New Zealand at the company’s esteemed Quality of Management (QOM) Awards on August 28th at the company’s ACT & Group Branch of the Year Awards ceremony.
These highly contested annual awards celebrate the family-owned company’s branches’ exceptional commitment to delivering every customer the best service, equipment, and hire centre experience. The QOM Awards are a cornerstone of Kennards Hire’s unwavering commitment to excellence, originally initiated in 1967 when the company only had two branches.
Competing against over 210 Kennards Hire branches across Australia and New Zealand, the Tamworth Branch has been recognised for its unwavering dedication to excellence, securing the prestigious Branch of the Year accolade. Additionally, it placed first in Newcastle & NSW North Coast Branch of the Year Award category, highlighting its professionalism in customer service, product excellence, safety, cleanliness, organisation, showroom appearance, and building maintenance.
Commenting on their award, Chris Farleigh, Tamworth Branch Manager, said: ”I am honoured to be awarded with the Group Branch of the Year award. The company has given me so much opportunity and enjoyment in life, it is an incredible feeling to be recognised for what I am able to give back. It is a privilege for my team and me to be among only a handful of branches who have achieved this feat.”
Kennards Hire first opened its Tamworth Branch in August 2018 and the five-person branch is powered by a team of long-serving employees, some with over nine years’ experience, who go above and beyond to support their community. Committed to their community, they sponsor local icons like the Tamworth Country Music Festival and clubs including North Tamworth Bears RLFC, South United Hockey Club, and Tamworth Clay Target Club. They’ve also provided in-kind equipment to groups such as Willow Tree Lions Club’s Warrah Creek Charity Run, Tamworth Motor Sports Club, and Spring Ridge Country Club – showcasing their dedication to giving back.
This dedicated team is led by Branch Manager Chris Farleigh and Area Manager Craig McMahon.
