HIRE26 Registrations Surge as Hire Demonstrates Strategic Resilience

As economic analysts expect the RBA to lift interest rates in light of rising inflation, the Hire industry once again demonstrates its resilience.

As a horizontal service, hedged across every sector of Australian industry, the equipment hire industry provides economic stability during a downturn by enabling productivity without capital risk, converting fixed costs into flexible operational solutions.

Scott Hazelton, director at S&P Global Market Intelligence stated in 2023’s Rental Management magazine (US) that “rental penetration tends to rise in times of economic uncertainty”.

The HRIA is seeing strong signs of this resilience as registrations for its upcoming annual convention, HIRE26, continue to surge. This is also evidenced in exhibition bookings, which are over 10% bigger than the last time the convention was held in Sydney in 2023.

HIRE26 builds on its already strong reputation for delivering a world-class event, this year headlining its conference programme with award-winning marketing guru Todd Sampson.

The convention leaves no stone unturned, hosting content and networking that caters to every member type, whether they’ve been part of the HRIA for 60 years or 6 months. Supporting fellow members and helping find solutions to everyday operational problems sits at the heart of the Association. This is one of the most compelling features of the Hire industry; members help industry by helping each other.

Many of the functions at the convention are nearing capacity, so delegates are encouraged to jump online before they sell out. To register, visit: https://www.hriaconvention.com.au/registration or click the button below.
