Q: Why did you enter?

A:We entered to discover how we sat

within the industry, and because we

believed it would be a great achievement

for our staff and the business.

Q: How long did it take you to enter?

A: There were a few weeks of preparation

discussing how best to describe the

business and highlight our achievements.

Q: What preparation did you make?

A: Brainstorming and meetings with

key staff to get documents and photos

together for our submission

Q: How did you find the experience?

A: Very rewarding. We were able to walk

away with a greater understanding of

how our business is seen within the

industry, as well as how we perform

compared to other hire companies.

Q: What would you say were the

benefits of entering?

A: A benefit is being able to gain a greater

understanding of your business from an

outsiders perspective. We can also use

these learnings not only for the awards,

but to implement these learnings to

improve the business as a whole.

Q: What would you tell potential

entrants?

A: Nothing to lose, everything to gain!

Q: Did entering the HIEA help you

see your business differently?

A:We were already aware of some of the

points which were discussed, however

it may have highlighted them and made

them more of a priority to improve upon.
