Fuelfix & Tanks2Go has added a
portable emergency shower and
eyewash station to its range of
hire solutions.
The self-contained unit which
can be located close to potentially
hazardous operations, allows
immediate rinsing or wash
down of eyes, face, body and
contaminated clothing.

seconds after which medical attention can

The units are fitted with a
1,250
lt water storage tank and
a powerful pump delivering a
wash down or flushing action
and can be activated instantly
with sufficient storage capacity
for prolonged wash down and
flushing action of up to 15
minutes or longer.
A permanent green light
illuminates the wash down
area. Green is the chosen colour
because it is the last colour
lost in the vision spectrum if a
hazardous substance enters the
eyes. A first aid kit especially for
the treatment of burns is wall
mounted and easily accessible.
The unit has a fully galvanised
steel frame, the roof and walls
are made from superior quality
thermo plastic composite. The base unit is
concrete for stability. The shower floor has
a non–slip hard wearing rubberised epoxy
floor in safety yellow.
