Dingo Australia recently celebrated 21
years of ownership by Gary Briggs and has
celebrated by renaming its Dingo models.
“
The ‘Coming of Age’ of Dingo is an
ideal time to rename the models so the
name better reflects the position of
the product in the marketplace. And so
we now have three distinct models in
three distinct chassis and horsepower
categories,” Gary said.
“
The Dingo Contractor is the flagship
model” Gary said. “It is a combination of
the proven K9-4 and the later K9-5 models,
bringing all their best features into one.
“
The AllRounder has evolved from the
Dingo comes of age celebrating 21 years
Dingo K9-3 which evolved from the
machine that revolutionised the world,
the Dingo 950.
“
As vehicles get smaller and yards
get tighter, the hire industry needed
a slightly smaller Dingo. We had the
chassis already in production and we
just needed to give it the right power
combination. Because the AllRounder
had grown a fair bit bigger than the
950
was, it was time to drop the power
plant of the 950 into the smaller chassis
and re-launch it as the Handyman
Dingo. It will do everything the 950 did,
plus go into tight spots.”
