New partnership gives HRIA members access to professional employee wellbeing support as workplaces focus on mental health and resilience.
As businesses across Australia mark R U OK? Day, the Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) is encouraging members to prioritise workplace wellbeing through a new partnership with Employee Assistance Program provider EAP Assist.
The partnership provides HRIA members with exclusive access to wellbeing services designed to support both employees and employers, reinforcing the importance of mentally healthy workplaces across the hire and rental industry.
R U OK? Day serves as an annual reminder of the value of meaningful conversations and early support when people may be experiencing personal or professional challenges. For employers, it also highlights the role workplaces play in fostering environments where employees feel supported, connected and comfortable seeking help when they need it.
EAP Assist is an Australian-owned provider of Employee Assistance Program services, delivering confidential counselling and wellbeing support through qualified Australian-based professionals. The organisation also offers a range of digital resources, employer education programs, wellness content and practical tools to help businesses strengthen employee wellbeing.
The new member benefit has been developed to provide HRIA members with flexible options suited to businesses of all sizes, recognising that workforce wellbeing is increasingly linked to productivity, retention and organisational resilience.
HRIA Chief Executive Officer James Oxenham said supporting the wellbeing of employees remains an important priority for businesses across the hire and rental sector.
“Creating strong, resilient workplaces starts with looking after the people who make those businesses successful. Through this partnership, HRIA members can access professional wellbeing support and practical resources that help employers and employees alike.”
The launch coincides with R U OK? Day, a nationwide initiative that encourages Australians to connect with friends, family and colleagues through simple conversations that can have a meaningful impact.
HRIA members can access an exclusive offer through the partnership and are encouraged to explore the resources available through the member portal.
