Coates hosted a special community event at its Dandenong branch to celebrate its long-standing partnership with Supercars. The event was held in the lead-up to the 2025 Penrite Oil Sandown 500, which was held between November 14th and 16th, bringing customers, staff and families together for an evening of motorsport excitement.
The event featured a live Q&A panel with Supercars stars Chaz Mostert, Ryan Wood, Cam Waters, Brodie Kostecki and Will Davidson, hosted by Supercars broadcaster Riana Crehan. Guests heard stories from the track, gained insider insights into life at the elite level and had the chance to ask their own questions. Fans mingled with drivers, snapped photos, tested their skills on a Supercars racing simulator and vied for amazing prizes including hot laps, event tickets and merchandise packs, all while enjoying delicious eats from Sliders on Tires.
Coates has been a proud partner of Supercars for 26 years, providing essential equipment and expert solutions across a wide range of categories, including site accommodation, lighting, power, traffic management, access and materials handling, at every promoted event. “Coates is proud to play a role in bringing the excitement of Supercars to local communities and [the] event in Dandenong was a fantastic example,” said Steven Read, Executive General Manager – South, Coates. “We were especially thrilled to welcome customers and their families, giving them the chance to meet drivers and be part of the Supercars experience.”

Supercars driver Chaz Mostert added: “Sandown is such an iconic track, and being here in Dandenong meeting fans ahead of the race is fantastic. It’s great to see partners like Coates giving back to the community and building excitement for what’s going to be an incredible three days of racing.”
